Daihen Varstroj Celebrates Six Decades of Excellence
The year 2024 marked a pivotal and festive milestone for Daihen Varstroj – 60 years of continuous growth, technical innovation, knowledge sharing, and building strong partnerships in the industrial world.
Since 1964, when the foundation of our company was laid, we’ve come a long way – from our first welding machines to today’s highly specialized solutions in welding, robotics, and automation that successfully compete across the European market.
To mark this special occasion, we celebrated 60 years of success with key partners and collaborators. More than just a number, the celebration honored the values that have guided us from the very beginning: innovation, expertise, responsibility, and a commitment to quality.
The first part of the event reflected on our origins and the journey that shaped our identity, a history that continues to inspire our future.
The second part invited guests into our Technology Center, where we proudly showcased some of our long-term collaborations and highlighted advanced solutions in manual and robotic welding, as well as robotic grinding. A special focus was placed on our latest and most advanced project to date , a new robotic cell that embodies our commitment to innovation on this 60th anniversary.
And to top it all off, Rok Bagoroš amazed everyone with his incredible stunts and infectious energy!
10 years with DAIHEN - a strong Japanese connection
2024 also marked another important anniversary: 10 years since joining the global DAIHEN Corporation. In 2014, Daihen Varstroj became part of one of the world’s largest manufacturers in welding technology, industrial robotics, and automation.
This strategic step not only expanded our technological capabilities and know-how but also integrated us into global industry flows and strengthened our position in international markets. Today, we proudly serve as DAIHEN’s development and production center for Europe, confirming our expertise, adaptability, and the quality of the solutions we provide.
Looking Ahead
At such a significant milestone, we’ve also turned our focus toward the future. Our goal remains clear: to create solutions that continue to raise industry standards. By investing in new technologies, expanding our development expertise, strengthening international partnerships, and continuously adapting to the needs of modern industry, we will confidently continue on our path forward.
